Assist in administrative functions including auditing freight bills against Disbursement Journal, retrieve packing slips when requested, operate switchboard, and support office and warehouse personnel as requested with administrative functions including the use of computers, printers, copiers and other equipment. Assist in printing, assembly, and distribution of daily, weekly and project pick plans. Assist as required for operation of document imaging activities.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for auditing freight bills against Disbursement Journal for accuracy of Pro numbers and dollar values. Reports any discrepancies to Traffic Manager for reconciliation with freight carrier.
  2. Operate switchboard and function as receptionist. Direct visitor traffic and arrange for their comfort. Receive packages/deliveries from FedEx and USPS.
  3. Retrieve packing slips when requested and print and process daily scrap lists. Field requests from customer service about orders that need to be put back to entered status and zip codes that need to be added to the system.
  4. Assist with Projects on the personal computer as needed by warehouse and office supervisors, including word-processing and spreadsheet projects.
  5. Operate all office equipment including the copier, fax machine, personal computer, computer printers, burster, mail machine, and label maker.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the scanning and indexing of Distribution Center documents using both PSIGEN and WebXtender systems. Coordinates, when necessary, with IT Department and third party support to expedite application revisions/additions.
  2. Perform pick plan assembly from start to finish including printing operation and delivery to warehouse pick line, assembling backups, SPA, envelopes, and any other pick plan documents, including but not limited to weekly Grainger pick plans, daily Home Depot, Rushes, International, and project pick plans.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.


  1. Read and write English.
  2. High school graduate or equivalent practical experience.
  3. Excellent communication skills, personal and professional organizational skills and overall functional accuracy.
  4. Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet company targets.
