The Quality Engineer position is responsible for working directly with Quality Manager. This position will analyze manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and inspection.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a Manufacturing environment.
Training in general safety and quality system awareness.
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
Proficient in using measuring instruments (e.g. calipers, micrometers, optical comparators and CMM's).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
