    The Process Technician is responsible for maintaining the control of processes in injection

    molding. This position also provides production schedule execution support to include component

    changes, setups and startups for plastics and meets Klein quality standards.  Additional responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process to include, set-up, start up and shut down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow.
    • Direct and monitor the execution of the production schedule as well as performing mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule. Create cycle time reductions where possible.
    • Perform process troubleshooting, tooling setting, material setting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality.
    • Work with Engineering on current and new molds for alternative material sampling and new product sampling.
    • Verify documents, product inspection sheet, process monitoring log and cells change over check list for jobs and completion of inspections at start up of jobs and in process inspections.
    • Prepare and set up support equipments i.e. circulators, grinders, thermolator, hot runner controller, material dryer and material loader, etc. as needed in the production area prior to start up.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.





    • High School diploma and five (5) years' relevant work experience.
    • Master Molder certification preferred.
    • Must possess Mold Technician experience and robot operation knowledge. Knowledge of programming preferred.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
    • Must possess knowledge of plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Experience in automotive environment is preferred.
    • Ability to read measuring devices, i.e. micrometer, vernier calipers, Acu-Gauge, etc.
    • Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
