    General Machine Products, a Klein Tools company, located in Suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a manufacturer of a wide range of products for the telecommunications, power utility and cable television industries, and the contractors who serve them.

    We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to be located in our Trevose, PA Facility.


    Specific Responsibilities will include:

    1. Manage daily maintenance activities for the building, equipment, and independent site contractors to ensure the facility meets annual improvement goals; responsible for maintaining the facility's asset management software.
    2. Maintain a safe work environment to prevent onthejob injuries by following and promoting Company, OSHA, DEQ, and EPA rules and regulations, implementing machine safeguards, recognizing and reporting safety hazards, wearing required PPE, and presenting periodic safety training; ensure employees work safety and follow all safety procedures and standards. Execute the plant environmental programs e.g. hazardous materials, recycling, etc.﴿.
    3. Work along side Maintenance Lead and Maintenance Technician to perform necessary equipment repairs and facilities maintenance as required.
    4. Develop, implement and document preventative maintenance programs. Ensuring machine upkeep and timely scheduled preventative maintenance.
    5. Work with Management and Manufacturing teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness OEE﴿ in order to meet customer requirements; analyze tool and machine problems, identify root causes﴿, and implement corrective solutions﴿.
    6. Responsible for coaching and development of the maintenance team to ensure understanding of equipment setup and operation, manufacturing processes, plant regulations, safety and other jobrelated procedures; monitor success through documented periodic work performance evaluations. Enact disciplinary actions, as required.
    7. Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe in accordance with the Company's 6S standards.
    8. Comprehend and follow Company policies and procedures by reading and following the guidelines outlines in the Employee Handbook and internal communication posts.
    9. Perform all other duties as assigned.


    Qualified applicants will possess a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of experience.


    Must be able to step in and work hands-on with department; Floor presence is a must.


    Must possess excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills; ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.


    Must possess strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Must possess familiarity with local building codes and OSHA, DEQ, and EPA regulations. Must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain confidentially when dealing with people, projects and issues.


    Working knowledge of Lean tools 5S, Kaizen, etc.﴿


    Ability to work well in a dynamic environment.


    Effective computer skills necessary, with ability to use Microsoft products.


    Excellent oral and written communication and facilitation.
