    The Cementer position is responsible for performing the process of putting contact cement or glue on studs, body belt cushions, bucket bottoms, tool bag bottoms and other component parts requiring adhesive operation for final assembly.  Additional responsibilities will include:

    • Apply glue or contact cement to substances in relation to effects on raw materials.  
    • Must be aware of proper containers for use and storage of glue and cements.  
    • Must be alert for in-process product imperfections and bring to the attention of the lead or supervisor.  
    • Must exercise safety procedures to prevent injury to oneself and prevent damage to equipment.  
    • The operator must keep equipment in good condition and area clean.    
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.



    • Two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.  
    • Must possess knowledge using hand tools.
    • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
    • Demonstrate the capacity to shift priorities.
    • Ability to work closely and effectively with all employees and management staff.  

    Physical Demand Requirements:

    Required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
